Fried Frank adds Jeremy Berry as Partner in the Firm's Asset Management Group
NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Jeremy Berry has joined the Firm as a partner in the Asset Management Practice. He will be based in New York.
Mr. Berry has extensive experience in advising large private equity and hedge fund managers on matters involving private investment funds and complex corporate transactions, with a focus on private equity and hedge fund formation and other alternative investment matters.
"Jeremy brings a wealth of experience representing some of the most prominent private equity and hedge fund sponsors and investment banks, as well as a broad range of other investment management clients," said David Greenwald, chairman of Fried Frank. In his role at Fried Frank, Mr. Berry will principally represent institutional alternative asset managers in connection with the formation of private equity, real estate, venture capital and other closed-end funds, as well as hedge funds. He will also advise clients on investment and financing transactions, with an emphasis on international and other complex transactions.

Most recently, Mr. Berry was a partner in the Investment Management Group at Akin Gump. He received his JD from Harvard Law School in 2003 and his BA from the University of Kentucky in 2000.
