Freudenberg-NOK Unveils Materials Research and Technology Developments at 2010 Rubber Expo
PLYMOUTH, Mich., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its overarching commitment to cutting-edge research and development activities, Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership will present the results of a 10-year study on how different adhesives impact the performance of molded elastomeric components and also discuss its research on computer modeling techniques for predicting rubber flow at the 2010 Rubber Expo and Technical Meeting opening today in Milwaukee, Wis.
Freudenberg-NOK, widely considered an industry leader in the area of advanced materials development and application, will present these findings during two different conference sessions at the conference. The company is a global producer of elastomeric seals, lubricants and custom molded products.

Oon Hock Yeoh, an engineering fellow with Freudenberg-NOK, will present his research on computer modeling techniques for strongly shear-thinning materials at a 3:30 p.m. session at the Expo and Technical Conference today. Michael Moore, a senior chemical specialist for Freudenberg-NOK, will unveil research findings that document how different adhesives used to bond elastomeric seals to metal potentially impact the performance of the seal once the adhesive has been heated and cured on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 10:15 a.m.
