Fresh Thyme to Donate $5,000 to Local Causes during Joliet Grand Opening Celebration June 10
JOLIET, Ill., June 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh Thyme Farmers Market will officially open a new Joliet store Wednesday, June 10 and will donate $2,500 to both the Warren Sharpe Community Center and the Joliet Park District as part of the grand opening celebration. The store is located at 2700 Plainfield Road Suite C. In addition to the charitable donation, the first 250 shoppers through the doors will receive a free reusable shopping bag filled with $50 worth of healthy groceries.

The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry will be on hand for the ribbon cutting and check presentation ceremony at 6:45 a.m.; doors will open at 7 a.m. Be sure to arrive early as lines frequently form hours in advance as customers reserve their spots for the free grocery giveaway. Fresh Thyme has planned savings and events all week long including family fun, live music and free food samples.
