French Opposition Leader Jean-Francois Cope to speak on France's Role in the New Europe
WASHINGTON, Nov. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Jean-Francois Cope, leader of the French opposition and one of France's best-known political figures, will give an address at Hudson Institute in Washington D.C. on December 2. Cope will comment on the Eurozone crisis and shifting balances of power in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
Cope is president of the UMP Party (the Union for a Popular Majority), and has served as French government spokesman, Minister of the Budget, and majority leader in the French National Assembly. He currently serves as president of Generation-France, a think tank dedicated to revitalizing the French political debate.
