Freehold Capital Partners Appoints W. Carter Burton President
NEW YORK, May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Freehold Capital Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Carter Burton as its new president. As president, Carter will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Joe Alderman.
Carter earned dual master's degrees from Northwestern University, including a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management as well as a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University. Carter also holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Tech University.
Prior to joining Freehold Capital Partners, Carter was president and CEO of Austin-Texas based Spine360, where he helped originate, structure and close an acquisition of the company by a major medical device company.
Prior to joining Spine360, Carter directed new investment originations for GE Capital in connection with a $1.2 billion portfolio of direct investments and senior debt partnerships with private equity firms. Carter also led financial restructuring projects for GE Capital, including the $1.9 billion Debtor-in-Possession facility for Delta Air Lines and a $380 million Plan of Reorganization facility for Sunbeam/Coleman/Oster.
