FreedomWorks for America and Kitchen Table Patriots to Host "Freedom Workshop" Grand Opening in Furlong, PA
FURLONG, Pa., Sept. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- FreedomWorks for America and the Kitchen Table Patriots are teaming up to host a "Freedom Workshop" to maximize the statewide grassroots efforts in support of conservative Pennsylvania Senate candidate Tom Smith.
The grand opening will feature remarks by FreedomWorks for America staff and select leaders from regional tea party groups, who will address a variety of economic issues including President Obama's war on coal and affordable energy in Pennsylvania.
WHEN: The grand opening will take place on Monday, September 10th, 2012 at 7pm ET.
The "Freedom Workshop" will remain open for activists in the weeks leading up to Election Day, Monday thru Friday from 11am-9pm ET and Saturdays from 10am-5pm ET.
WHERE: 2405 Heritage Center Drive, Building 800, Suite 128 (second floor) Furlong, PA, 18925.
WHY: The headquarters will serve as a one-stop-shop for grassroots activists supporting Tom Smith to pick up "Get out the Vote" materials, make phone banking calls, obtain walking maps and organize door-to-door outreach, or to simply chat and network with other fellow conservatives.
President of FreedomWorks for America Matt Kibbe commented, "In the past few years, the Tea Party movement has evolved from a grassroots protest movement to a sophisticated 'Get out the Vote' machine. We plan to continue growing this community of committed fiscal conservatives nationwide by setting up similar workshops in key states across the country that will provide activists with materials to maximize the final grassroots efforts leading into November."
Unlike traditional Super PACs which exist to produce expensive advertising buys, FreedomWorks for America was created to develop tools to empower local activists to create a winning ground game that will transform grassroots conservatism into lasting political change this November.
