FreedomWorks for America Activists Open a "Get out the Vote" Center for Jeff Landry in LA-03

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is being released by FreedomWorks for America:

WHAT: FreedomWorks for America will join activists for the grand opening of the "Get out the Vote" Center in Lafayette, LA to elect Rep. Jeff Landry in the District 3 congressional race, followed by a morning of phone banking and door-to-door outreach.

The center will serve as a meeting place for grassroots activists from across the state to network, strategize, conduct voter-targeted phone banking, and pick up campaign materials for sign waving events and door-to-door outreach.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be led by FreedomWorks for America COO Ryan Hecker and Joyce Linde, President of the GEAUX FREE Tea Party in Lafayette and FreedomWorks Louisiana Field Director.
