Freedom Salute Ceremony in Altoona to Recognize National Guard Troops for Service in Iraq
HARRISBURG, Pa., March 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Some 75 soldiers from Company B, 2/112th Infantry Battalion will be recognized at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, during a Freedom Salute ceremony at the Altoona Armory, 327 Frankstown Road, Altoona, Blair County.
The soldiers served in Iraq with the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The ceremony recognizes soldiers for their service, and thanks family members and employers for their support.
