Freedom One Financial Group Adds Human Resource Manager and Business Process Manager to Growing Team

CLARKSTON, Mich., Jan. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Clarkston, Mich.-based Freedom One Financial Group, a 401(k) plan adviser, announced today that it has added Shelly Lewallen as human resource manager and Jeremy S. Chaffin as business process manager. Freedom One Financial Group President and CEO Mark Wayne made the announcement.

As human resource manager, Lewallen will provide human resource support in the areas of employee relations, talent development, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, and wellness initiatives.

Prior to joining Freedom One Financial Group, Lewallen served as the director of human resources for Romeo, Mich.,-based L&L Products, where she provided direction for its human resource department in the areas of strategic planning, employee relations, recruitment and retention, talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits, and employee health and safety. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University.

As business process manager, Chaffin will be responsible for analyzing current business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements with a focus on service excellence, increasing operational efficiency and cost savings.

Before joining Freedom One Financial Group, Chaffin served as a senior business analyst for CDI on assignment to Ford Motor Company, where he integrated new technologies and streamlined existing processes to fully support growth and cost management goals. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.
