Freedom Financial Network Opens Consumer Helpline to Assist with COVID-19 Financial Questions

TEMPE, Ariz., May 19, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- As COVID-19 creates enormous financial difficulty for consumers across the country, Freedom Financial Network (FFN) has launched a free consumer helpline for Arizonans in need of information and resources on how to manage the financial impacts of the pandemic.

Freedom Financial Network will staff the helpline, 844-731-0886, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. MST, Monday through Friday. Specialists will help consumers understand what options might be available to them to manage through the financial impacts of the pandemic. They can address topics including:

• Resource guides and information about government assistance programs created to help those impacted by the COVID-19 crisis

In Arizona, unemployment claims during the week ending May 2 were up 825% compared to the same period one year earlier. For the two weeks before that, they were up 892% and 1,259%.
