Free Webinar: Implementing the New Campus SaVE Act

LEESBURG, Va., March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (Campus SaVE Act) recently signed into law represents the most sweeping reform of federal guidelines in two decades to affect colleges and universities handling of sexual misconduct. A free webinar presented by S. Daniel Carter, one of the advocates who helped develop the Act, will offer insights into how to comply with the law's new expanded reporting, prevention, and victims' rights standards to better prevent and respond to sex crimes on campus. President Obama signed the Campus SaVE Act, a compliment to Title IX and an update to the Jeanne Clery Act, into law on March 7th as part of the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act. The new law is designed to help institutions better protect their students and employees from sexual violence.
