ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- A cool mint on your pillow may be nice, but how about a hot Fender ® guitar instead? Or a professional DJ system? Perhaps a customized list of songs? Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos is rolling out its new amenity program, The Sound of Your Stay™, which redefines room service.

True to the luxury brand's immersive musical ethos, an abundance of music memorabilia and an embrace of well-tuned technology, Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos announced the launch of The Sound of Your Stay program, designed to provide guests with a unique and all-encompassing music experience while staying at any of its properties worldwide. Currently offered at a limited number of Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos, the program will be extended to all properties worldwide beginning early 2012.
Like a well-integrated triad chord, The Sound of Your Stay includes three elements available for free to hotel guests:
tracks. Already a popular amenity, "tracks." can be found and experienced at every property. At check-in guests are given a code to download one of three 15-song playlists, offering a sonic guide for their Hard Rock experience. Currently on its fifth volume, the "tracks." download amenity program is curated by music pros and celebrities. It has included 52 Grammy nominated artists and has featured numerous bands before they became household names.
picks. An exclusive guitar amenity program in partnership with Fender, "picks." allows guests to choose from a selection of Fender guitars, including Stratocasters, Telecasters and basses, and have one delivered to their room, along with a headphone amp and high-def SOUL by Ludacris headphones, to rock out as hard as they want. And if they feel like picking up a few new "licks," Hal Leonard has provided video lessons of some of the greatest guitar anthems of all time.
mix. Currently in beta testing is Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos new DJ amenity program, "mix." Guests can turn their hotel room into a private club, choosing from one of several Traktor Kontrol S2 systems and having it delivered along with a 30-day demo version of Traktor PRO 2 software to load on their PC or Mac, and a pair of SOUL by Ludacris High Def headphones.
"Music is the soul of the Hard Rock brand, something that truly sets Hard Rock Hotels apart as a travel destination," stated Brian Klein, Head of Global Marketing, Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos. "Our new amenity program, The Sound of Your Stay, is intended to enhance and expand the musical dimension of our guests' experience."
Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos recently hosted a private viewing party to launch The Sound of Your Stay at Exit Art in New York, with musical performances by Mayer Hawthorne & the County, DJ ?uestlove, two time DMC world champion DJ Shiftee and TRIBES. Special guest Andy Rourke, guitarist for The Smiths, was on hand, along with rock n roll chef Kerry Simon and DJ Jeffrey Tonnesen.
