Free Lecture on Integrative Lab Testing, Autoimmunity, and Holistic Treatment for Fibromyalgia Pain Open to Public
FREEHOLD, N.J., Sept. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Board certified physician and holistic medicine professional Dr. Neil Paulvin will be offering a free lecture on the latest advances in alternative medicine September 30th. The talk will be held at the Advanced Health and Wellness Center, an AOSMI subsidiary which Dr. Paulvin heads, and marks the first of a series of integrative wellness lectures planned for the coming months.
A fellowship trained integrative medicine professional and certified medical acupuncturist, Dr. Paulvin hopes this event will help bring together the local alternative medicine community and provide a "front line" perspective on the latest in lab testing for the causes of conditions such as fibromyalgia and weight gain.
"There's almost an overabundance of information available online--much of it with little or no real scientific backing. That's why it's especially important for those of us interested in and practicing alternative medicine to come together in person and have these more in depth conversations," said Dr. Paulvin, adding, "It's not just a one-way street either--we wellness professionals want to hear from the public about their experiences."
Dr. Paulvin's next lecture, slated for later this fall, will cover weight-loss and athlete related issues.
