CHICAGO, Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ford City Mall may be the coolest place to be this holiday shopping season. The weekend before Christmas, visitors to the mall can skate for free. On Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., an outdoor ice skating rink will be open to the public on the south side of the mall near the food court entrance.
