Free Calls to the Philippines for Cox Digital Telephone Customers
ATLANTA, Nov. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications today announced up to 60 minutes of calls placed by its residential long distance customers to the Philippines will be free through November 30, 2013. The program will be retroactive to November 8, 2013 and is automatic for all Cox Digital Telephone customers with Cox Long Distance.
"The entire Cox Communications family extends its sincere thoughts to our customers and communities who have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan," said Cox President Pat Esser. "We want to make it easy for Cox customers to connect with their loved ones in the Philippines. We hope that free calling will do just that."
Customers need not take any action to receive this discount.
This follows an announcement earlier this week that Cox Communications will make The Filipino Channel available free to all digital customers in the markets where available through November 15, 2013.
