Freddie Mac to Issue a New Two-Year Reference Notes® Security and $500 Million Reopening of 3.75 % 10-Year Reference Notes Security
MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Freddie Mac (OTC: FMCC) announced today that it plans to issue a new two-year USD Reference Notes® security, CUSIP number 3137EACZ0, due on November 27, 2013. The issue will be priced on Friday, October 28, 2011, and will settle on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at benchmark size.
The new two-year Reference Notes security will be offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by J.P. Morgan Chase, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Credit Suisse. An application will be made to list the issue on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
Additionally, the company also plans to launch a $500 million reopening of its 3.75% 10-year USD Reference Notes security that matures on March 27, 2019. The issue will price today, Thursday, October 27, 2011, and will settle on Friday, October 28, 2011.
The $500 million reopening of the 3.75% 10-year Reference Notes security will be conducted via an Internet-based auction. The issue, CUSIP 3137EACA5, is listed on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. After the reopening, the outstanding size of the 3.75% 10-year Reference Notes security will be $3.5 billion.
