Fred Jordan Missions Is Previewing Over 10,000 New Toys For Impoverished Children Today And Tonight, Friday, Dec 14, 2018

WHAT:

Today, Friday, December 14, 2018 from 9 AM – 9 PM, come to a special preview of Santa's Workshop and the 10,000+ brand new toys being prepared for thousands of poor and needy children on Skid Row and in Los Angeles.  The Mission is piled high with toys packed for Los Angeles' Largest Christmas Toy Party for 4,000 kids at Fred Jordan Missions on Skid Row on Saturday, December 15 at 9:30am. 

We are expecting 4,000 children and their families to attend.  Each child will receive not one, not two but three age-appropriate new toys packed especially for them. Skateboards, dolls, balls, stuffed animals, socks, candy, frisbees and scarfs will also be distributed.  For many of these children, these will be the only new toys they will receive this Christmas. 

The party will include a Spectacular Christmas Show featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse*, courtesy of The Walt Disney Company. 

Thousands of impoverished and needy boys and girls will experience the true spirit and magic of Christmas, and their eyes will light up with joy and smiles when they receive several brand new toys from hundreds of volunteer helpers. Christmas Dinner food bags filled with nutritious, healthy and delicious food, blankets, hats, scarfs and socks will also be distributed.
