Fred Gegare Welcomes Jim Sheard as a Candidate for Vice-President at Large

GREEN BAY, Wis., June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Sheard, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 554, has announced his candidacy as a Vice-President at Large on the Fred Gegare "Fighting for the Members" Slate. Fred Gegare, an International Vice-President, is opposing James P. Hoffa in the Fall 2011 election for the General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Jim Sheard is a third generation Teamster, with a career spanning over 35 years within the Teamster's Union as a Rank and File member to an elected Officer or Agent of the Teamsters Local 554 located Omaha, Nebraska. Jim Sheard is a true labor leader that represents the members of the Teamster Union in different venues, such as his position as the Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Joint Council 56 to his position as an executive board member of the Missouri, Kansa, Nebraska Conference of Teamsters.
