WASHINGTON, July 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Family Research Council's Dr. Patrick Fagan, Senior Fellow and Director of the Marriage & Religion Research Institute (MARRI), will participate in FreedomFest 2010 at Bally's Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Fagan will serve as a star witness during a debate between Dinesh D'Souza and Steven Landsburg entitled "Religion on Trial: Is God the Problem?" He will make a presentation that will demonstrate how society benefits from religious influences.

Dr. Fagan will present twice during the conference. He will first present at the debate on Friday, from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Pacific Time. Fagan will then present on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Pacific Time under the title, "Why Religious People Do Best in America."
