The panel will discuss the destructive potential of the Obama Administration's new "state authorization" and "gainful employment" regulations on institutions of higher education – especially, for-profit schools. In addition, the panel will discuss how lawmakers and advocates who favor higher education reform should respond.
The panel will feature Dr. Richard J. Bishirjian, president of Yorktown University; Dr. Peter Wood, president of the National Association of Scholars; and Dr. Richard Vedder, founder of the Center for Educational Affordability and Productivity. FRC Senior Fellow Chris Gacek, J.D., Ph.D., will moderate the panel.
