FRC Action to Honor The Heritage Foundation's Edwin Meese at Values Voter Summit

WASHINGTON, March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Family Research Council Action announced today that it will award its 2011 Vision and Leadership Award to Heritage Foundation fellow Edwin Meese, III, at the Values Voter Summit gala dinner to be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Meese will be the fifth recipient of the award. Last year's honoree was American Family Association Chairman Emeritus Donald Wildmon. Other past recipients include Dr. James Dobson, Phyllis Schlafly and Chuck Colson. 

Meese holds the Ronald Reagan Chair in Public Policy and serves as chairman of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at The Heritage Foundation. Meese first served Ronald Reagan when he was governor of California. He later served as Counselor to the President – the senior job on the White House staff – and functioned as Reagan's chief policy adviser. Meese also served as the 75th Attorney General of the United States.
