FRC Action Joins Minority Leader John Boehner in Call to Repeal and Replace Health Care Law

WASHINGTON, May 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) sent a letter to President Obama in response to a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services update on the implementation of the recently passed health care overhaul law.

Family Research Council Action President Tony Perkins issued the following statement praising Rep. Boehner for holding the President accountable:

"The President was wrong on the bill's cost, wrong on the effect on jobs and wrong on the issue of taxpayer funding of abortion.  There is only one response to the incompetence found throughout Obamacare: Repeal.

"It's quite clear why Secretary Sebelius' report ignored President Obama's Executive Order on federal funding of abortion: President Obama and his Administration have no intention of preventing it.
