BEIJING, May 18 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Frbiz.com, one of China's leading B2B search platforms, predicts e-commerce future development trends.
Frbiz's analyst said that in the third quarter of 2009, China's B2B e-commerce operators' revenue reached 1.7 billion yuan, representing 9.6% growth, up 23.9% year-on-year. China's B2B e-commerce market transaction volume has growth potential. According to the latest IDC numbers, in 2009, overall e-commerce transaction volume in the Chinese market reached 34,278 billion yuan; compared with 2008, a 40% increase. Frbiz predicts that in next 10 years, 70% of trade volume in China will be completed through electronic transactions. China's B2B e-commerce market transaction scale has growth potential. Based on the rapid development of e-commerce in 2009, Frbiz's analyst believes that e-commerce applications in 2010 will show the following trends:
First, third-party platforms will be used more and more to expand business. Third-party platform span multiple industries, and small- and medium-sized enterprises can be both buyers and suppliers. In addition, third-party platforms span multiple sales channels, so both small- and medium-sized enterprises can carry out wholesale and retail business. Since small- and medium-sized enterprises face high operating costs in establishing their own e-commerce sites, due to the lack of standardization of application systems, hardware and software required to continuously upgrade and so on, it is far preferable for them to use third-party platforms.
Second, more and more personalized network services will become available. Modern customers want personalized service, focus, and precision; therefore providing such services will become an important means for companies to attract customers. Network service systems will provide customers with new tools: all-day waiting, real-time and interactive service, trouble-shooting and problem-solving, etc. These personalized applications cater to the needs of modern customers. Therefore, small- and medium-sized enterprises will place more emphasis on understanding their customers' personal information. Small- and medium-sized enterprises will pursue the opportunities, while also creating good business models, developing supply chain management, and maintaining customer relationships. Through these mechanisms, enterprises can have a good understanding of customer needs and then tailor personalized products.
Third, companies will focus on brand building. Establishing a good company image by enhancing site design and promotion has become more attractive to small- and medium-sized enterprises.
Fourth, companies will emphasize business. Frbiz's analyst also said that the core of e-commerce business is business, while electronics is only a means to achieve transactions. In fact, through the decade accumulation and deposition in C2C, B2C, or B2B models, e-commerce has begun to shift its focus; paying attention to business will be a driving force for future electronic commerce development.
