CityCenterDC is a 10-acre, $950 million mixed-use development being built on the former site of Washington, D.C.'s convention center by Hines and its partner, Archstone. The high-profile development is envisioned to be the unequivocal centerpiece of downtown D.C. It is the largest construction project of its kind underway anywhere in the country with 216 luxury condominiums, 458 rental apartments, a 1.5-acre public plaza/park, 295,000 square feet of restaurants and shops, a hotel and 515,000 square feet of office space planned.
