Franklin Wireless Launches Durable, Versatile and Portable Embedded CDMA Hotspot Router for Easy Wi-Fi Connection
LAS VEGAS, March 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CTIA Wireless 2010 -- Franklin Wireless Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: FKWL) (http://www.franklinwireless.com), the market leader in dual-mode WiMAX/CDMA modems for 3G and 4G wireless broadband data communications, today announced the launch of its R526 EVDO Rev. A+ embedded Wi-Fi hotspot router for U.S., Latin American and Caribbean markets.
Franklin's R526 is ideal for consumers who need to stay connected on the go. This device features a built-in RJ45 Ethernet port for wired connection, a replaceable and rechargeable lithium-ion battery as well as an intuitive web-based user interface that allows for simple set up and network configuration.

Featuring enhanced portability, Franklin's new CDMA hotspot router is smaller and weighs less (2.46 ounces or 70 grams) than other products available in the market today. A dual-band device (800/1900 MHz) featuring 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, the R526 supports Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems and does not require any special software to access network connections.
The R526 is expected to be available in April 2010 through Franklin Wireless and many of its carrier partners.
