Harnessing over thirty years of experience, Francie is sole proprietor and operator of Special Circumstances, a private investigation agency.
As a licensed private investigator in the State of California, Francie devotes her career to criminal defense and civil litigation, working with attorneys, pre and post-trial investigation, trial preparation, and witness evaluations in the areas of criminal defense, civil rights violations, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and more.
The first person to receive the Investigator Philosopher Award by the Criminal Defense Investigation Training Counsel, Francie is a former two-term President of both the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS) and the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI). She also maintains affiliations with the National Association of Legal Investigators, Council of International Investigators, World Association of Detectives, the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and others.
Outside of work, Francie enjoys quality family time and riding her motorcycle. Locally, she is on the Board of Directors of a community-based non-profit, works with various charities, and periodically takes on cases for the Innocence Project as well as pro-bono missing person cases.
