France Targets Young Travelers
NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- France is taking an initiative to attract young travelers by launching a new online campaign geared towards teachers called 4 ways to see France with your students.
For this campaign, Atout France- the France Tourism Development Agency is partnering with ACIS, the American Council for International Students, a tour operator that promotes trips abroad for students.
ACIS is offering four new school trips throughout France, giving teachers the perfect opportunity to educate their students through immersing them into French culture and life. Trip activities include venturing through the ins and outs of Paris, taking part in a Cezanne-inspired painting workshop in Aix-en Provence, visiting the stunning castles of the Loire Valley, and staying in a home stay in the Alps.
In total, the campaign will reach about 200,000 teachers, including members of the American Association of Teachers of French, the National Educational Association, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language, and subscribers of Language Magazine.
