Foxwordy Debuts Breakthrough Workplace Collaboration Tool for Legal Professionals with Release of Foxwordy Teams
New Feature, Launched As Part of Bold Site Redesign, Offers Innovative Collaborative Tools and Dramatically Reduces Email Communications
PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Foxwordy, the first private social network for legal professionals, today announced a bold site redesign showcasing its newest feature, Foxwordy Teams. This breakthrough time-saving solution offers an array of collaboration tools for legal professionals and will decrease cumbersome email communications.
Today's news is the latest example of Foxwordy's innovation in the legal sector. Foxwordy's industry-leading anonymity feature allows lawyers to have 'off-the-record' conversations with their colleagues, for instance, to ask questions about current legal topics without revealing their identities.
"Foxwordy's mission is to provide the ultimate collaborative destination for legal professionals," said Monica Zent, Founder & CEO of Foxwordy. "With the launch of Foxwordy Teams, we continue to innovate, creating a streamlined collaboration solution designed to help lawyers save time and release them from the shackles of their bloated email inboxes."
The new feature allows lawyers to create an unlimited number of "Teams" of colleagues around specific subjects with whom they can share messages, comments, clauses and files in one convenient location.
Legal professionals can create Teams for any number of subjects, ranging from deals and cases to alumni groups and more. For example, solos can connect with other solos who are aligned within their specialty, while in-house lawyers can create teams with colleagues in their department or in other in-house departments who share a common practice area. In addition, law firm professionals can collaborate internally on a major case and law students can now collaborate with each other on class projects.
Foxwordy Teams also includes a feature called Clause Collaboration, which allows lawyers to share clauses to be used in legal documents or submit clauses to the Team for feedback. Real-time editing with colleagues and displays of differences in the text help lawyers take productivity to the next level.
In addition, Foxwordy announced today the introduction of its new academic membership, designed specifically for law professors and students. The academic membership is the newest addition to Foxwordy's Premium and Basic membership options. The Premium membership offers unlimited access to the Foxwordy platform, including the Teams and Clause Collaboration features. The free Basic membership includes access to the Foxwordy network and social networking tools.
