Foxwordy Adds Two Patents to its Portfolio
Patents awarded for innovations that enhance Foxwordy's enterprise social offerings with new technologies
PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Foxwordy, the private collaboration platform for lawyers, today announced that it has received two patents issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office related to its inventions in enterprise social software, joining a list of several pending patents for the company.
The announcement is especially notable since the race for technology patents is fiercely competitive and the patent application process for such innovations has been increasingly rigorous in recent years.
"We are proud of this achievement, which underscores the fact that Foxwordy is an innovator and leader in the field," said Monica Zent, founder and CEO of Foxwordy and the principal inventor on each of the patents. "We won't stand still now, though. We are constantly innovating to provide our customers with a unique and valuable experience on our platform that yields tangible benefits to their careers."
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office awarded patents for "Interaction Privacy in a Default Network" (Patent No. 9,369,471 B2) and "Reputation System in a Default Network" (US Patent No. 9,380,073 B2). The former patent is related to furthering anonymity on enterprise social. The latter patent concerns a ranking system within a reputation algorithm.
The patents join others currently pending from the company. "Providing our customers with access to our patented technology supports our commitment to deliver a competitive, business-class solution that meets the needs of the Enterprise market," said Zent.
