Four Corners Farm to be sold in absolute auction

ELON, N.C., July 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Four Corners Farm, a 300-acre working farm fronting on Highway 87 in Alamance County, N.C., will be sold at absolute auction Friday, Aug. 29, with Woltz & Associates managing the sale.

Used primarily for grazing cattle in recent years, the property will be offered in 12 tracts, ranging in size from 10 acres to 44 acres.

"Taken as a whole, this is one of the prettiest working farms we've sold in a long time, but we're going to offer it in parcels that will enable up to a dozen individuals to enjoy the satisfaction of owning a small farm where they can raise a few horses or cattle, or to simply build their dream home," said Jim Woltz, president of the auction company.

Woltz noted that the parcels lend themselves well to smaller farms or estates.
