Behind-the-Scenes in Old Town

Custom requests are a specialty of Foster Design Build.  One special project currently underway -- featuring numerous exciting, customizations -- is 438 W. Eugenie Terrace (across from historic St. Michael's Church).  Once an apartment building owned by the well-known Twin Anchors restaurateur (an Old Town landmark and favorite of Frank Sinatra!), 438 W. Eugenie has been gutted to the studs and re-imagined as a super-sized, 5,800 square-foot bachelor pad.  

This one-of-a-kind home features all expected luxuries and amenities along with some dramatic additions: a real fireman's pole (to get from the third to second floor in a hurry), an exterior zip-line (a quick direct escape to the garage), and a heated, backyard pool.  The home will also be technology savvy, fully interactive and synchronized so all systems can be controlled by a single touch.  In addition, the 100+ year old exterior is being expertly restored to its original glory, neatly buffing up the beauty while satisfying Chicago's stringent Landmark Commission requirements (Foster Design Build excels at preservation and works closely with the Commission; a recently completed 11,000 sq. ft.
