Fortunate Sun Clothing Joins The Garage Public Relations

LOS ANGELES, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Garage Public Relations, a leading fashion and lifestyle firm announced today its representation of the contemporary clothing line, Fortunate Sun. Garage will handle all areas of Public Relations for the newly launched Fortunate Sun in both the Women's and Men's contemporary clothing categories.

Based in Los Angeles, Fortunate Sun was founded by Eli Myers and Lindsay Kraines who previously worked together at Z Brand and Union before partnering up on Fortunate Sun to pursue their own endeavors. Inspired by the laid-back California weather and outlook, Kraines and Myers found the SoCal lifestyle to be the perfect muse for their line. They adopted the mantra 'Live the Dream' – which is featured throughout the collection. "Live the Dream symbolizes positivity and is a constant reminder that we are all fortunate in some way or another and should always make the best with what we have," states Myers.

Conversely the line truly reflects the lifestyle of the city where it was created and has a strong emphasis on comfort. The duo wanted to create a line that you could wear to the beach and then wear to dinner, so they developed what they are calling 'Weekend Wear' which includes Tees, Henley's, Polo's, Pants and Hoodies.

The current season is inspired by music and all of the designs reflect certain artists or songs. One example is 'Marley Bob' that fuses the iconic 'Marlboro pack' with the Reggae legend.

For Fall the line has a number of shirts that celebrate the World Cup of soccer. Eight countries are represented with unique symbolism specific to that country – which is sure to be a hit with the impending championships about to take place in South Africa this summer!
