AI, cloud computing and growing network traffic are placing increasing demands on the infrastructure connecting data centers, communities and markets. Network operators face rising density requirements, power and cooling constraints, and the challenge of planning for future capacity without overbuilding infrastructure from day one.

Fortress' NextGen SMART ILA addresses these challenges through a standardized, modular alternative to traditional precast infrastructure, designed for faster deployment, greater flexibility and long-term scalability.

Supporting low-density, high-density and mixed configurations, the platform enables consistent deployment across multiple sites while accommodating evolving network requirements. Its architecture supports a 600 kW day-one design, scalable to 1.2 MW, with 400 to 800 kW of ICT capacity across the platform.

Combined with integrated SMART site technology and a streamlined design and manufacturing approach, NextGen SMART ILA simplifies deployment, operations and maintenance while enabling operators to expand capacity as needed.
