McCreary retired this year from social gaming services provider Zynga as its Chief People Officer, where she helped the company navigate its public transition and manage its rapid growth from 130 employees to 3,000 in just three years.
"The competition for top talent is fierce, especially in Silicon Valley," said Michael Fertik, Reputation.com's founder and CEO. "A talent powerhouse like Colleen is essential for critical hiring and culture building. We developed the Chief People Officer role specifically for her – and we're confident the company and culture will benefit from her experience and proven strategic execution."
As Chief People Officer, McCreary will focus on talent acquisition and retention, culture change and strategy, diversity measures, and key business accounts at Reputation.com.
"Privacy continues to grow in importance and relevance – especially as social sharing becomes more central to our personal and professional lives," said McCreary. "More people want to protect their personal data while still fully participating in digital life. I'm excited by Reputation.com's mission to empower users online to do exactly that."
Prior to joining Reputation.com, McCreary worked in progressively responsible human resources roles at Electronic Arts and Microsoft. She has a B.S. from Boston University and an M.A. from Columbia University Teachers College. McCreary also serves as the vice-chair of the National 4-H Council Board of Trustees.
