NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, One World Identity (OWI), an independent strategy and research company focused on identity, has named Joe Stuntz, as Vice President of Cybersecurity. Stuntz most recently served as Director of Program Performance for the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Cyber and National Security unit.
In his new role, Stuntz will advance the cybersecurity of OWI's clients by working with CFOs, CISOs, product developers, and investors by translating between security, business, and government. Joe's focus will be a new suite of cybersecurity offerings that will improve security to drive compliance, but more importantly, contribute to better investment decisions and business outcomes.

Stuntz helped develop White House cybersecurity initiatives like reports for Executive Order 13800, the Cybersecurity National Action Plan (CNAP) and the Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan (CSIP). During his time with the White House, Stuntz was co-chair of Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management Sub-Committee of the CIO Council and helped drive the cybersecurity performance of federal agencies, specifically surrounding identity management. Before he managed Federal-wide cybersecurity programs, Stuntz authored a number of OMB cybersecurity policies on topics including high value assets, CSIP and major incidents. Prior to his time at OMB he was a consultant with engagements that included being on the writing team for the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).

Stuntz graduated from James Madison University with a BBA in Management. He later earned his MBA from Georgetown University in strategy and finance from the McDonough School of Business and did graduate work at the Naval Postgraduate School on identity management.
