Gravel joins Nirvanix after a highly successful career at Terremark, where she was instrumental in growing the cloud computing services provider from its early beginnings to the point where it was acquired by Verizon for $1.4B in Jan. 2011. At Nirvanix, Gravel is responsible for the company's sales strategy and global expansion across both established and emerging markets and verticals such as healthcare, media & entertainment and financial services. Gravel will report to Scott Genereux, President and CEO of Nirvanix.

Gravel is a top-performing, award-winning executive with over 20 years of sales experience in the cloud services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) industries. Gravel held several positions of increasing responsibility at Verizon/Terremark, most recently as Vice President, Global Channels and Alliances. In this position she designed, built and launched a highly successful worldwide channel program to sell cloud computing services through system integrators, MSPs and tier one OEMs. Prior to Verizon/Terremark, Gravel was Vice President, Central Region Sales at Data Return (acquired by Terremark) where she led a sales team responsible for delivering managed services across multiple regions. Gravel gained additional sales experience in various positions at several leading IT companies, including SAS, Sybase and CSC. She holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts.
