As an Assistant to the President, Chopra designed the National Wireless Initiative and helped launch Startup America. In 2011 he was named to Modern Healthcare's list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare, and in 2008 he was featured in Government Technology magazine's Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers issue. He is currently the co-founder and executive vice president of Hunch Analytics, a startup focused on improving the productivity of public and regulated sectors of the economy through data analytics.
"When we began the conference 13 years ago, we all walked away inspired by a shared passion for Agile development that reaches across borders, languages, and industries," said Mitch Lacey, AGILE2014 chair. "Every year the conference continues to inspire and invoke serious advancements in our field, and this year's conference keynote lineup reflects the progress we've made as a community. Agile thinking has permeated the development culture all the way up to the highest levels of government oversight."
AGILE2014, scheduled for July 28–August 1 in Orlando, Florida, is expected to draw upward of two thousand Agilists from across the globe and hundreds of experts and speakers, including two additional, highly-anticipated keynotes—Diana Larsen and Bjarte Bogsnes.
Larsen is considered the authority in areas of Agile software development, team leadership, and Agile Adoption. She is the cofounder of FutureWorks Consulting and originator of the breakthrough "Path through Agile Fluency." She served for eight years as a director and chair of the Agile Alliance board, and currently serves as a board member of Organization Design Forum, Agile Open Northwest, and Language Hunters, as well as an Associate of the Human Systems Dynamics Institute.
Bjarte Bogsnes has a long international career, both in Finance and HR, and is currently heading up the Beyond Budgeting implementation at Statoil, Scandinavia's largest company with operations in 36 countries and a turnover of $130 billion U.S. dollars. He is Chairman of Beyond Budgeting Roundtable Europe (BBRT), and is a popular international business speaker and winner of a Harvard Business Review/McKinsey Management Innovation award.
Details of the 200 or so program tracks of the conference will be announced later this Spring.
