Former Sen. Judd Gregg, CEO of SIFMA, to Announce New Investor Protections

WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Former New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg, the CEO of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, will unveil new protections for investors to be endorsed by the banking group at a National Press Club luncheon on Nov. 7.

Gregg will be joined by SIFMA Chairman Chet Helck, the CEO of Raymond James Financial Inc.'s Global Private Client Group.

The new investor protections are endorsed by SIFMA's members, which include hundreds of securities and investment firms including Goldman Sachs Asset Management, JPMorgan Securities LLC, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Luncheon will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 2 p.m. Cost of tickets is $21 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase 2 tickets at this rate) and $35 for all other non-member tickets. This event is in the Holeman Lounge.
