DALLAS, Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- John Urschel, former offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens turned full-time Ph.D. candidate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), will deliver the the keynote speech at the 30th annual Teachers Teaching with Technology (T3) International Conference. The conference will be held March 2-4, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Urschel will share his personal journey of where a love of math has taken him and where it can take today's students. The 6'3", 305-pound former lineman recently did the unexpected by hanging up his football cleats to focus on his doctorate in Applied Mathematics full-time. "Not every football player can retire at the young age of 26, but thankfully, my love of math opens up a variety of career options for me off of the football field," said Urschel. "I'm excited to be a part of the T3 International Conference this year to help inspire teachers to return to their classrooms and get their kids to love math."
