Former Parma Mayor Dean DePiero Takes on Full-Time Role at McDonald Hopkins Law Firm

CLEVELAND, Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Former Parma Mayor Dean DePiero has taken on a full-time role as "of counsel" at McDonald Hopkins LLC, a business advisory and advocacy law firm. DePiero, who specializes in business law and government advocacy, had been mayor of Ohio's seventh largest city since 2004. DePiero has held a part-time position as "of counsel" at McDonald Hopkins since 2006.

The former mayor is committed to community service. He has been secretary of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) since 2007, is past president and board member of the Ohio Municipal League and former board member of the Northeast Ohio Area Coordinating Agency (NOACA).

A practicing attorney since 1994, DePiero received his J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ashland University.
