Former Oracle CIO joins First Associates Loan Servicing as CTO

SAN DIEGO, April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- First Associates Loan Servicing, one of the country's fastest growing consumer loan servicers, announced today the hiring of former Oracle CIO Jerry Corvino as Chief Technology Officer.

He brings more than three decades of strategic information technology and operations expertise to the firm.

Corvino served as Oracle's CIO in the late 1990s before becoming the CIO and COO of ZiLog, Inc, a supplier of application-specific embedded systems-on-chip solutions for industrial and consumer markets. He was later the CIO for Memec, a global semiconductor distributor that is now part of Avnet (NYSE: AVT). Prior to Oracle, he was the CIO for AT&T Microelectronics and VP of Corporate Information Services for Amdahl, then an information technology company that specialized in IBM mainframe-compatible computer products and was ultimately purchased by Fujitsu.
