Former Nike Director of Global Consumer Experience to Lead Jack Morton Los Angeles Office
BOSTON, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Global brand experience agency Jack Morton Worldwide is announcing changes to its leadership team in Los Angeles. Daryl Butler, formerly Director of Global Consumer Experience at Nike for the Jordan brand, will assume the role of Senior Vice President, Managing Director of the Los Angeles office, whose clients include Intel and Hyundai.
In his 20-year career, Daryl has worked client-side for some of the world's leading marketers, gaining expertise in branding, consumer experience, retail, channel marketing, sales and finance. Prior to his role with the Jordan brand, Daryl was Marketing Director at Nike from 2007-2009 and at Boost Mobile from 2004-2007. He also spent a decade at Nextel from 1994-2004, in various marketing, finance, sales and sales management roles. Prior to joining Nextel, Daryl was with The Disney Stores supporting their product development and store expansion efforts.

Daryl was introduced to Jack Morton as a client at Nike, which engaged the agency to create an experience to mark the 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan. He was impressed with the creativity of the Los Angeles team, which was recently recognized for their outstanding work for Hyundai with an Ex Award—so much so that he decided to make his first move to work on the agency side of the business.
Daryl is replacing Luis Montero as Managing Director. Luis spent the last six years with Jack Morton, four as Managing Director. In addition to leading the Los Angeles team, Luis founded the Jack Morton Latino practice, which today works with major brands such as Target.
