Rutherford's experience comes from eight years of honorable service as a Navy SEAL combat paramedic. Rutherford has been involved in thousands of operations all over the world including the Middle East and South East Asia. Following his time with the SEALs, Rutherford served as an International Training Expert for the U.S. Government and one of the country's largest private security companies.
Rutherford's presentation, Stories From the Battlefield, Lessons for Life and Design, pulls from his experience with the Navy SEALs and is designed to inspire and teach lessons on success in any environment. Rutherford will discuss lessons learned from his experience providing treatment on the battlefield and how that knowledge can be applied to create success in the medical device arena.
