Former Missouri Governor & Senator Kit Bond Joins alliantgroup

HOUSTON, Aug. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Former Missouri Governor and Senator Kit Bond (R-MO) announced today that he is joining alliantgroup as a Senior Advisor and a member of its Strategic Advisory Board. In his new role, the former Senator will counsel alliantgroup on strategic initiatives to educate small and medium-sized Missouri businesses about valuable tax credits and incentives, as well as increase jobs in areas of high unemployment.

At age 33, Kit Bond became the 47th Governor of the State of Missouri – the state's youngest Governor. Bond was elected to a second term as Governor in 1980. Missourians sent Bond to the United States Senate in 1986 and re-elected him three times in 1992, 1998 and 2004. In 2010, Senator Bond retired from the U.S. Senate.
