Former MINDBODY Executive Amanda Patterson Joins Raken as New Vice President of Marketing
Industry-leading cloud-based construction field management software company names veteran SaaS executive to new leadership position
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Raken, the top-rated daily reporting app and field management software for the construction industry, has named accomplished technology service executive Amanda Patterson as its first vice president of marketing. Patterson has 18 years of experience in leadership and communications, most recently as a senior executive at MINDBODY, the fastest-growing SaaS provider in the health, fitness and beauty industry.
Patterson brings specific experience in B2B marketing, global campaigns and business growth to Raken. During her five years at MINDBODY, Patterson led global marketing to help the company achieve 300 percent revenue growth – from $48 million to nearly $200 million – and a public offering in 2015.
"It's rare to find an organization that pairs a phenomenal culture with such a huge and exciting opportunity," Patterson said. "It's an innovative and supportive place, where the team members are challenged to work hard but are also encouraged to collaborate and come up with big ideas. I'm looking forward to being on this team as we meet the challenges that come with building and growing a dynamic enterprise like this."
2018 was a landmark year for Raken, and expectations for 2019 are high. A $10 million round of Series A funding in June supported new product releases, including time cards, which have been widely adopted by subcontractors globally, and the ability to complete daily reports and time cards while offline. Raken plans to announce additional upgrades and new workflow solutions for superintendents, foremen and project managers in the near future.
"I've been fortunate to get to know Amanda over the past six months and we're extremely excited to have her join our team," said Kyle Slager, Raken's CEO and co-founder. "Amanda already has a deep understanding of our customer, and her experience lines up really well with where we're going as a company."
Raken boosts construction productivity, safety compliance and risk mitigation by providing a software platform that streamlines construction workflow processes such as daily reporting, time tracking and safety management. The company has nearly 4,000 clients from all 50 states and 89 countries.
"Raken is different because we have a mobile-first, field-first approach to solving problems on the construction site," Slager said. "Empowering field workers to be happier and more productive will in turn empower project managers and executives with the data they need. We're solving the problems that construction workers face every day."
