BOSTON, March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobile engagement provider Mobiquity (www.mobiquityinc.com) today announced that Michael Donahue is joining its Board of Directors. Donahue brings extensive background in building and managing technology services companies, including serving as Chief Operating Officer at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting).

In addition to Mobiquity, Donahue is a director of three other companies: Orchard Media, a worldwide distributor of digital music, film and video; Preferred, an energy services and advanced materials outfit; and Quintiq, a global supply chain software company. He's a former director of Air Products, a Fortune 500 gas and performance materials provider. Michael also served on the boards of GSI Commerce, a provider of online retail and marketing services (acquired by eBay); Expensewatch, a financial software firm (acquired by Bezos Expeditions); Xtify, mobile customer engagement company (acquired by IBM); and Liquidhub, a technology consulting firm.

Prior to its spin-off, he served as managing partner, solutions, for the consulting division of KPMG LLP and as a member of the boards of directors of KPMG LLP (US), KPMG Consulting KK (Japan) and as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KPMG Consulting AG (Germany).
