Former Head of US DoD Cyber Operations and Defense Joins NXM Labs to Spearhead Efforts to Combat Growing Cyber Threats
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- NXM Labs Inc., the leader in autonomous security and data integrity software solutions, today announced that USAF General Harry D. Raduege, Jr. (ret.) has joined the Company as a strategic advisor.
"NXM is pioneering breakthrough solutions to critical security challenges facing us today, including the advent of quantum computers that threaten to undermine government, industry and personal privacy worldwide," said Gen. Raduege. "I'm very excited to be working with NXM and its partners to usher in a new era of autonomous security technology that enables connected devices to manage their own security without human intervention, ensuring the integrity and protection of private, confidential information."
Gen. Raduege is the former Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency and Manager of the National Communications System. Following the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, he led efforts to restore communications in the Pentagon and throughout New York City. He also led efforts to upgrade Presidential and National Security communications through a $1 billion transformational communications program. Later, he was appointed by the Secretary of Defense as the Deputy Commander for Global Network Operations and Defense for the U.S. Strategic Command and as the first DOD Commander of the Joint Task Force for Global Network Operations; serving as CIO of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, U.S. Space Command, Air Force Space Command, and U.S. Central Command.
Following military retirement, Gen. Raduege served as the Chairman of the Deloitte Center for Cyber Innovation and Managing Director for Cyber Risk Services for Deloitte & Touche LLP. He co-chaired the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency and was a Senior Advisor to the Task Force on Cybersecurity in the current administration. Gen. Raduege also served as a Special Government Employee within the Department of Homeland Security.
Gen. Raduege will work with NXM and its Board of Advisors on strategic planning and outreach to prospective partners to commercialize its autonomous security and data integrity technology. "It's rare for a new entrant like NXM to be able to attract someone whose extraordinary career accomplishments and service is matched only by his insights into the daily challenges of cyber defense in a rapidly changing world," said Scott Rankine, Co-founder and CEO, NXM Labs. "We are very fortunate to have Gen. Raduege as the newest member of our team."
