Former Goodyear and GE Executive, Joe Ruocco Joins CamberView Partners as Senior Advisor
SAN FRANCISCO, April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CamberView Partners, LLC announced today that Joe Ruocco has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Joe is the former Chief Human Resources Officer for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, a position he held for seven years following a long and successful career with GE. In 2015, Joe established Ruocco Consulting, LLC where he partners with and advises CHROs and other business leaders in all aspects of Human Resources strategies and tactics to drive business success.

Ruocco spent 23 years at GE in progressively larger HR Leadership positions. He was elected a GE Officer in 2002. Joe's last role with GE was as the Vice President of Human Resources for GE's Industrial Business. In 2008, Joe was elected an Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, a position he held until 2015. Under Ruocco's leadership, Goodyear elevated its human resources practices particularly in the areas of executive compensation, governance, succession planning and leadership development, which led to the recognition of Goodyear on AON Hewitt's 2014 list of Top Companies for Leaders.

Joe was elected a Fellow to the National Academy of Human Resources in 2010. He also served on the Board of Cornell's Center for Advanced Human Resources Studies (CAHRS) and as a member of the Human Resources Policy Association (HRPA). He holds a B.S. Degree from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University.
Mr. Ruocco joins CamberView's existing Senior Advisors: Michele Hooper, Eileen Romiger, Richard H. Koppes and Peter C. Clapman. Ms. Hooper is President and CEO of The Directors' Council, a board member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), a board member of the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ), and a sitting director of a number of public companies. Ms. Romiger is former Director of the Division of Investment Management at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and former Global Chief Investment Officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). Mr. Koppes is the former General Counsel for the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), the largest public pension fund in the United States, with more than $230 billion in assets. Mr. Clapman was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Counsel for TIAA-CREF, which had an investment portfolio that exceeded $400 billion for 32 years until his retirement in 2005.
