FOREVER ANTi PoP To Drop Debut Single, Video & EP

"The goal is to introduce people to my music and message, for them to learn and experience who I am," explains FOREVER ANTi PoP, who has been preparing for this moment since he was a little kid.

Born in Tallahassee, FL, FOREVER ANTi PoP moved to Atlanta to live with his grandmother when he was 10 years old. She introduced the sounds of Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson and bought him his first microphone. As his musical tastes evolved to include Young Jeezy and Kanye West, as well as hometown heroes like Plies, the precocious youngster began writing and producing music of his own.

"When I was 14 I wrote my first complete song, 'Ready For War,' with a beat I found on the Internet," FOREVER ANTi PoP recalls. "I was inspired by Kanye West, who had transitioned to singing on 'Love Lockdown,' so I decided to explore and discovered I really had a singing voice. T-Pain was also an inspiration because he was a rapper who started singing."

The FINESSIN' THE RHYTHM EP delves into the true emotions of a young millennial man just trying to figure out life. "Kylie Jenner" is a social commentary on the lengths some young women will go to try to be like the popular reality TV star, while "Ain't Gotta Say Much" tells the complicated story of a woman in a relationship with a man who doesn't appreciate her. "My mom always went for that type," the artist says.   

On "Surfin'" FOREVER ANTi PoP skillfully explores the perks of fame and the sacrifices that come along with it. The lead single and video, "Finessin' the Rhythm," which features fellow ANTI Society collective member, David Sabastian, is about the grind to get noticed in the music business in LA, where the artist relocated three years ago.

"You gotta create your own way into the industry; so I finessed the rhythm from day one," explains FOREVER ANTi PoP. "This song is for the hardworking guy, the guy with three jobs. 'Finessin' The Rhythm' is about hustling and sacrifice."
