Foresters helps raise more than $45 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals through its Radiothon program
SALT LAKE CITY, UT and TORONTO, ON, April 19 /PRNewswire/ - ForestersTM, a life insurance provider that champions the well-being of families, helped raise more than $45 million in 2010 to support local Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® is a charity that raises funds for 170 children's hospitals across North America.

Foresters is the founding sponsor and underwriter of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' Radiothon program in the United States and Canada. As a result of Foresters financial support, 100 percent of the money raised goes directly to local children's hospitals. Since the partnership began in 1990, Foresters has helped raise more than $430 million for local children's hospitals across North America.

Radiothon donations are used to fund research and training, purchase equipment, and help with costs for uninsured and underinsured patients. In addition to its generous financial support, Foresters volunteers commit countless hours at their local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
